What's the difference between spectrum and Standard to justify the price different?

Dear Go,
The Spectrum models have a much higher level of detail than the Standard Line models, as well as being as close to possible to scale dimensions.
Have fun!

The Spectrum 0-6-0T has compound gear reduction which gives good slow speed action. I have removed the 9 pin JST connector that was soldered to the PC board you see in the photo.
The loco comes DCC ready with an adapter plugged into the JST connector for DC operation.
Interior of loco.
