Are the current issues of Plasticville O/S using the old molds? If so how about coming out with some of the harder ones to find like the Cattle Pens, Grandstand and its associated brethren or the Storybook structures or have the molds seen better days?
as a side note, anyone know why the HO coaling tower and the O tower differ so much? I like the looks of the HO one better.
What was the first year when the current issue of Plasticville USA began production?
It depends on the items you are referring to. Many Plasticville items returned to production or were given new colors in 1997 for the 50th anniversary of the line. We've reintroduced other items and changed colors sometimes since then.
