Title: Adjusting the CV's on my 2-8-0
Post by: sparkyjay31 on March 28, 2009, 06:38:18 PM
At the last trip to my LHS I was told that adjusting the CV's could make my Connie sound more "realistic".  I know how to access the CV's thru my Powercab, but don't know which ones to adjust and to what number.  So can anyone help me out?   Give me a list of the CV's you have changed, the values entered, and what each one does?

Sorry for sounding dumb.  I'm still pretty new at this and don't want to screw up my loco!

Is this a spectrum 2-8-0 with a factory sound decoder? if so look here http://www.bachmanntrains.com/home-usa/dwg/Sound_Decodesr_CV_DFLT.pdf

All sound decoders I know of have a list of CVs and what they do and the values for the CV.

For Bachmann OEM sound, this manual has it all.
