Mr. Bachmann,

I'm not Mr. Bachmann but every Spectrum GP30 I see listed here from Bachmann has DCC Onboard for $69.00.  It doesn't have Sound but it is DCC equipped.

The one I was looking at on Ebay is Not the DCC equipped one.  It just says Spectrum GP-30.

The GP30 has been around for a long time.  Why don't you send a note to the seller and ask him?

the non dcc ones that i have require a haard wired decoder. it is not a hard job to do but it does require complete disassembly and  some rewiring. the following link shows how to convert an h16-44 to dcc, the gp30 is almost identical.

Dear HO,
If the GP-30 is not DCC Onboard, it is straight analog, with no socket.
Have fun!

Mr. Bachmann and All,
Thanks for the help.  I had asked the seller, and he did not know the answer.
Knowledge is power...

Thanks again.
