Hi all,

Does any one have experience in running the 2-8-0 reliably through #4 turnouts from various manufacturers?

The only problem I have ever had with my 2-8-0 was the pilot truck would derail the way I cured that was by removing the spring on the top of pilot truck. Over all its the BEST and most reliable Locomotive in my roster .

I have two. No issues whatsoever. Negotiate 18" radius, #4 turnouts. Simply a very fine running loco.

Thanks for your input.
After doing some tests I am happy to report that the 2-8-0 Consolidation negotiates very happily an Atlas #4 crossover setup.
