Title: E-Z Command unit
Post by: abe on August 19, 2009, 09:31:46 AM
Hi,
I have an EZ Command unit and it says in the manual that one of the features is, that it has 28/128 speed steps. Nowhere can I find how to enable the 128 or the 28 speed steps feature.
How do I switch from 28 to 128 (or reverse) speed steps?
Thanks for helping me with this question.
Abe

You cannot change advanced configuration values with a Bachmann EZ Command. It just means it will run your loco in either 128 or 28 speed step mode based on factory settings or capabilities. So it will run an older loco that only has the ability to do 28, and newer locos that run in 128.
The only CVs you can change with it are the loco's address, what direction it considers forward and (I'm not sure this even counts) the brightness of the lights (off/dimmed/full).
