Title: Insulated frogs
Post by: Hotoro on September 06, 2009, 10:07:08 AM
Hi to everyone. I am new in this hobby and I need some help. I am intereted in blocks nowadays. As far as I learned when designing blocks we need turnouts with insulated frogs. I want to ask, do E-Z Track N scale turnouts have insulated frogs? How can we understand a turnout has a insulated frog? If not how can I add a insulated frog to my turnout

Thank you very much for your all support.

You don't need insulated frogs for a block system. A powered frog really only affects the turnout. The diverging routes really don't change.

What changes the power on the diverging routes is if the turnout is power routing, which the bachmann turnouts are.
