Title: Constant Voltage Lights
Post by: Bill Mutch on September 08, 2009, 08:50:51 AM
I just bought a J Class a couple a weeks ago. Runs and smokes great! The one thing I did notice is the light is very dim, constant but dim. Not bright like my S-1. Can I put a different bulb in it? Right now it has a 8 volt.

Hi Bill,

The constant voltage board should output 8 volts.  So either the bulb is mis-marked or malfunctioning.

Regards,

Thanks again 3rail, it worked! I guess even a new engine can have a bad bulb.
