Title: Williams Trains
Post by: candido meana on October 07, 2009, 10:32:19 PM
My grandson is special needs and spends hours looking at his trains.
They wear out pretty fast and need repair.  We were told that an
engine with two motors would hold up much better.  We are new to the
train world and would like some help with this.

Thank You

Dear Candi and Sharon,
Williams trains are very rugged and might be just what you need.
They are reasonably priced as well!
Have fun!

Dear Candi,

In a local train club, they run lots of older Williams.  They run beautifully and well.  They do not appear to be scale, but who cares !  If you get up close to the rails and watch them come barreling toward you, you get quite a rush, just like in the good old days !

Too, our guys had a contact at Williams who I believe moved on to Bachmann.  My point, they know the product inside and out, and this chap would resolve mechanical questions quickly.

Best Wishes,

Jack
