I was wondering, are there any companies you would recommend to do soundtraxx installs? Also a company that specializes in custom painting/decaling/weathering and mechanical/detailing work on models mainly brass, but also plastic ?

It might be helpful to know which region in which you reside. Are you wiling to ship or are you looking for a local service. Nearly all good train specialty hobby shops can do or have someone on file that do these services.
