Title: Body Screws
Post by: DominicMazoch on November 08, 2009, 11:12:58 AM
I had to change out a headlight on my SD90 MoPac Heritage.  I noticed something about the 4 body to frame screws.  WAY TOO TIGHT.  Actually, one of the tubes had a stress crack in it.  Once I took the frame back on, I ran the screws down, the backed off about 1/8 to 1/16 turn.  Body is secured but not over stressed.  Mr. B, you might want to check with the plat about that.

I've noticed this myself. What you might want to do is swap around the screws with different holes and that fixed the tightness for me that your experiencing. Good Luck

I have placed candle wax on the screw threads.  That helps!
