Hi I am new to this hobby.
I have purchased a couple of Spectrum DCC ready diesel engines, planning on installing decoders in them. I also purchased a couple of Bachmann decoders.
I have searched the web, yet I still cannot find anything giving examples on how to install a decoder inside a Spectrum DCC ready diesel engine.
In fact, I do not even know how to open the engine up...can anyone point out how I might proceed (opening up the engine, and how to install decoders?)

I'm new as well welcome.I wish I could help but I'm clueless as well.I know you can get the blue prints through Bachmann that might be a good start to help you pop it apart.As far as decoders I don't even know what that is.Sorry for absolutly nothing but welcome all the same.
