Looks like all of us are newbies. When will this designation change? I just can't believe that people like Nigel, TOC, Hunt, and many, many others are newbies.

Good point, Jim. I'll be retired in two months so I'll be staying on the board a good part of the day then....you know, gotta do something with all that spare time. :)
I was also wondering how that star system works, I couldn't find anything on that feature or rating.

No Star ranking race any more either. I've noticed most new posters,
introduce themselves as "new to model RR" when they make their first couple of posts. Let's try to welcome new folks aboard for their new & wonderful journey in the hobby.

Hi kid's, I'm 66yr's old and i'm a "newbie"?? i like it!!! :o... i dont post much becuz most the "knowitalls"do it ALL for me. BUT,.. I do like the "new board" alot!!!. Theres some nice fokes out there in " bacmann land" :D.. All of you keep up the good work.......
