does anyone know where to get real brass bells instead of plastic thank you

  What doyou need it for? Bachmann's bells have been metal for as long as I can remember. The only company that uses plastic bells (other than the really cheap New Bright stuff) is LGB!

Older Bachmann 4-6-0's did have plastic bells!

They sure did, Bill.  And I have a bunch of them, but out of the Brass bells.
