Title: losing a spring
Post by: conradin on April 23, 2007, 03:39:46 AM
Upon opening my loco, the spring inside the coupler flew out and I cannot recover it.  Where and how can I get a replacement spring...or a replacement coupler altogether?  This is a D8-40C Santa Fe.

Is this N scale ?You can use micro trains conversion coupler #489-133040.I don't know what you would use on H.O :) :)

Yeah, I though about it.  But I do not want to do it now because that will mean I will have to convert everything.  Even though I have only abou 20 carts, that's a lot of work for me (I'm sure some of you who have over 300 will laugh). ;D

A yellow copper/brass spring the size of a pinhead lost on a yellow carpet does not help...
