Hello I'm currently working on making a custom train set. My good friend, who helps with my layout wiring, is going to attend the University of Iowa next year i would love to make the Hawkeye Express for my layout, I've gotten the engine that i want pulling the train, not like the actual one they use to pull it but I'm painting mine to match the coaches.

does anyone know where i can find coaches like these
Athearn allows you to make your own train set, with as many cars as you want, and in your paint style. It might cost a bit of money, but in the long run it could be worth it.
Really the paint isn't the biggest problem it's those double decker cars that i can't find anything like.
Those are Gallery cars from Chicago Commuter Service.
Walther's did them although ebay is your best bet seeing as their no longer in production. Kato did them as well although theirs have a much higher price tag.
