Hey Bach Man,
I've been seeing on eBay Bachmann Twin Diesel with Caboose sets.
Here's a picture of the Santa Fe GP40 set...

Also see Amtrak F40PH sets and Alaska GP40 sets.
My question is, I don't see them listed from Walthers for ordering by my local hobby shop.
Beyond eBay, how do you get them??? Are they not sold through distributors like Walthers and/or Horizon Hobby?
Also can't find them listed in Bachmann catalogs or on the website.
Thanks
Tony
There probably not listed because they are long out of production.

I believe they are very much current production or very recent items. They appear to use the blue box packaging that is used on Bachmann's latest items.
Dear Tony,
I'll see what I can find out...
Have fun!

If you'll notice in the lower right corner of the box you'll see a "Great Planes'' logo, that's a model dist. that deals mostly in radio control a\c and access.
I think you're probably looking at a set made especially for them and not availible through any other dist.
I had wondered what that said in the lower right corner...thanks. I don't see anything related to trains on the Great Planes website.
Did find Twin Diesels and Caboose sets in the recent Historic Rail catalog.
The reason I am curious about them is that these sets would be the only place to obtain a Non-Powered GP-40 or F40PH currently.
Here's the set as featured on the Historic Rail site...
