Title: New here
Post by: usmc03 on March 07, 2010, 01:48:17 PM
Hello,

So I am new here and to the world of Model Railroading.  I have recently purchased two Bachmann HO sets for my son.  I built a 4x8 table yesterday and am now looking for ideas on a neat set up that will fit that table using Bachmann EZ track.  Any and all help is appreciated.

Thanks much
Lance

Check out this site.

Hope this helps.  Also try searching "sectional track plans" on google

Welcome to the world's greatest hobby!!!  Bachmann has a very nice book, the title of which I forget at the moment, that walks you through building several layouts using EZ Track.  Your LHS may have it.  Kalmbach has an extensive line of books covering all aspects of the hobby.  Your LHS should have some of them too.  Again, welcome aboard.  One nice thing about EZ Track is that it makes it very easy to experiment with different track arrangements right on your table top.

Thanks, for the info.  I was in the shop today and actually found the Bachmann book. The boy and I looked through it and he picked out a layout he wanted.  I just ordered all the track I needed off the net.  Can't wait for it to get here.
