Title: 2-6-6-2T logging g scale loco
Post by: willis on March 11, 2010, 07:41:05 PM
hi, i just bought this loco, i am installing or trying to put in a QSI G/O decoder.
the engine has 2 chuff optical sensors, the engine board has a 2 screw connector that says chuff input + and- the QSI board has chuff/cam out with 3 pin connector ground-1, cam-2, and +5-3. it shows make and break 1 and 2. how can that be done?
also the engine board has 2 speaker wires coming out of it to hook to the speaker but the QSI also has speaker out connector. (scratching my head on these 2 issues).
please help, someone, anyone!
thanks, willis.

Easiest way to move your post is to copy and paste it into a new post on the large scale board.  Then come back and delete your topic from this board.

NM,

Check your drag instructions, I think you meant "release the left mouse button".  (I'll delete this note later.)

Dear All,

For highlighted text, I use these short cuts:

Ctrl-c to copy (to memory),

Ctrl-v to paste (from memory),

Delete to delete (highlighted text).

I am not used to using:

Ctrl-x to cut (to memory),  I guess it could come in handy.

Use the Ctrl key as you would the Shift key.

Hope this helps.

Sincerely,

Joe Satnik

Edit: grammar
