Dear Mr. Bachmann,
I love your Gn3/Fn3 scale products, but I think there are some other G-related scales you should try.
First off, there is Gauge 3, which represents standard gauge prototypes usually in 1:22.5 scale. Thus, they run on 64 mm wide track.
And there is also Gn15, which is G scale running on HO scale track representing 15 inch gauge.
I hope you consider these gauges. Thanks.
Gauge 3 has been dead for a few years, but seemingly replaced by 20.3 Std Ga. 2.75" ga.
Also 7/8N2, much alive and very interesting (on 45mm ga.).
!/24 scale on 45mm is 42" gauge, currently alive and well in Oz (Aust.).

Good points, no arguement. But what I was trying to get to was that 20.3 NG is 3 ft gauge and correspondingly there is 20.3 std ga. Both U.S.
Gauge 3 is std ga for 22.5 meter gauge (on 45 mm track).

Standard gauge on 45mm is Gauge 1, at 1/32 scale where Gauge 3 is larger 1/22.5 scale standard gauge but its on 63.5mm or 2-1/2 inch gauge track, its wide track, actually wider than American 3 rail tinplate "Standard Gauge" which is 2-1/4 inch gauge. The only reason I know all this is that I have been very interested in Gauge 3 since my Thomas "Percy" arrived. It really is a good candidate for conversion to Gauge 3 due to its size. ;D
Aren't Big Haulers 1:22.5?

When Bachmann designed and started the Big Haulers, LGB owned the market. It was only natural to follow what was selling. But soon learned that 22.5 is based upon meter gauge track (where LGB is from).
If the big hauler was being developed today, it would be 20.3. The prototype Big Hauler is the 4-6-0s on E. T. & W. N. C.
Railroad. Which is a 3 ft narrow gauge railroad. And a very interesting one also.

You can convert some engines to gauge 3? I guess I'll do that if i get Casey Junior by Accucraft and/or Ivor by Locolines.
