OK, Mr. Bach-man made this comment last month. So, assuming that the release will be Friday when the convention starts, let's have a little fun guessing what the release(s) will be for On30. Now, let's try not to make this a *wish* thread so much as a guess thread. I have a lot on my wish list, but doubt most will ever see the light of day. Here are my guesses:
Engine: 2-6-2 OF steam engine Maine Prototype
Rolling Stock: Box car or Passenger car based on Maine Prototype
I'm sure I'm wrong, but I think that Bachmann has a tendency to lean towards 2 foot prototypes over 3 foot. A 2-6-2 mechanism has lots of reusability to it, including export 2-6-2T prototypes. We'll know pretty quickly!

I predict 44 ton, 45 ton & 70 ton Diesels (same as the HO scale units already released) and a K-27 as well as the logging flat with steam donkey
The last two locomotives have been "large" or at least "largish" in size, the 2-6-6-2 and the 4-6-0. The OF 4-4-0 is not exactly small compared to the Porters.
My guess would be something small - what that would be I have no clue.
Another guess would be a largish modern diesel.
Without fear of jinxing anything, I'm going to predict a H_______, and also a re-release of the 0-4-2, but with square water tanks, an optional pilot to make it into a 2-4-2, and a DCC decoder.
Rolling stock will include a new excursion car [agreeing with Max's excellent idea], and shorty versions of the passenger cars, not unlike the Sierra RR. passenger cars.
Now, on the Cumberland Southern, I'm going to predict an americanized version of the War Department Baldwin 4-6-0T, bashed from a Bachmann HO 4-6-0 with some parts from the Porter. That's the plan, anyway.

Excursion car, excellent guess! I had forgotten about the HO version released last year. I'd put that on my list for sure.
I had diesels on my list, too, but took them off. If I were to put one back on, I'd go with a center cab diesel like the ones that were on Hawaii and are now in Colorado.

The H - IF Bachmann are convinced that the redesigned replacement gears for the Climax and Shay have solved the problems with the geared locomotives - they may wait a year or so to see how the new gears perform.
A 2-6-2, OF Maine prototype or similar "catalogue" locomotive.
Possibly a 2-6-2 or 0-6-2 tank locomotive based on one of the Hawaiian prototypes or a similar "catalogue" locomotive, this is more likely to follow in a year or two after the release on an OF 2-6-2 tender loco using the same chassis.
A reintroduced Porter, whether altered or not, probably the 0-4-2 as it has more space for a decoder and possibly sound
An excursion car, probably similar to the new HO version
A flat car with log skidder load, similar to the HO and Large Scale versions.
I expect that all of the above will be released by Bachmann sometime in the next few years, but exactly when and in what order I am not sure.

There will be more 3 foot prototype larger locomotives and possibly rolling stock at some stage, I have no idea which. Probably not this year.
My guesses for this year - the H (see proviso in above post), if not the H the OF 2-6-2 tender loco. Could be both.

I'm guessing 0-4-0 sidetank porters like the G scale with dcc & sound partly as a wish and partly because I think on30 is popular with people who make small layouts, bachmann's current lineup does not include many engines that can handle less then 18"R without kitbashing, and these loco's would fill the size gap between the saddle tank porter and the larger loco's produced.
I also think a rerun of the saddle tank loco's is due with dcc added
Switching layouts are becoming pouplar. so running a large engine thru swiches with DCC and sound can be very entertaining.

I know there is no betting line at the local casino's and if there was I wouldn't bet anyway. Everyone can guess and someone just might be right as are the few lucky lotto winners but I'm betting on that either.

Looking at the other scales (G, as well as Liliput HOn3/HOe), I could imagine a Fairlie of the Ffestiniog Railway.
A Baldwin 2-6-2T (WW1) makes sense as it can be sold on multiple continents.

Because I'm about to bash an old, nearly irreplacable and somewhat valuable plastic kit into an operating loco, probably an 1880-1890 era Porter or similar IF 2-6-0, based on a 3-foot gauge loco. (the kit I have is 1/50th, which makes it nearly identical in size to the IF 4-4-0, so a true 1/48 version would still be fairly small).
Now that Fleischmann officially dropped their Oe / On30 "Magic Train" line, maybe Bachmann may buy the molds and re-issue them to start a line of European narrow gauge O scale trains.... (who knows).
Ivrr325, If you take a look at Foothills Model site under Mcleod Western part C-6036p then you will find it fits that 1/50 scale Porter mogul great and brings it up to 1/48 scale..mine is going to be a Colorado Central engine.
