Dear Bach-man,
There's been some things on my mind and many other users minds regarding the Thomas and friends range this year.
1. Will Donald and Douglas be released around Christmas of this year? They were both not mentioned on the pdf file posted on the website.
2. When should we expect pictures of Donald and Douglas (or possibly test shots)?
3. Is Troublesome Truck #3 going to be a truck like how 1 and 2 were, or will it be a van similar to the ventilated van with a face on it?
i got an email from the company that donald and douglas are to be released in december of 2010, photos should be released in august? ??? and the Troublesome Truck #3 should be a van from pop goes the diesel

My guess is that Troublesome Truck #3 is a van because if it was a truck I think we would have seen something of it by now. :-\

whatever troublesom truck #3 is, it has to be completly different from what they have out now

I just think that TT #3 will be either a ventilated van of a different color and with a face, or it will be another gray truck with a face.

I'm thinking that Troublesome Truck #3 is a regular truck for the reason being it's the same price as the Troublesome Trucks. That's my guess, but there is still the chance of it being a van or some other truck.

Well that's sucks :-/ I guess I'm not expanding my layout this then.
I can't edit my recent posts on my phone so I can't fix the previous post. What I meant to say was:

The lighthouse will probably be delayed aswell. I forgot about that. I'm having doubts about trouble truck #3. You'd think we'd have a pic by now.
We've completely blocked out the Large Scale range! All 5 new Large Scale pieces are coming out this year. Maybe that's why so many other products are being delayed :-/

Doubt it will be Ricketey BACHMANN announced him and Fred the orange coal car years ago but they were canceled. So its not like him maybe his face though which is really all that makes him special except that he shakes. But i doubt it.

honestly i would rather have the HO instead of the Large scale (1 reason being im not a LS moddeler)

Back around 2004 for the 2005 range. They were canceled at around the time pictures came out of Gordon, Henry, and the rolling stock.

Rickety is a name adopted by Learning Curve, "he" did cameo in the RS though, as the pic above shows. :P

the troublesome tanker wont happen, the face would be way to small and is there any possibility that Troublesome truck #3 could be a Season 1 truck? ???
That is also a possibility not only were they in season 1 but if you closely in season truck lines you could see a season one truck Thomas, Percy, And the coal is a example of this. But if its not a season 1 truck then you can always get some from Hornby because thats all they seem to make.
But they don't get the faces right. For a season 1 truck, you could always pop the face off one of the other trucks or take an already faceless one and make show-accurate paper eyes, nose, and mouth yourself. ;D
If you watch rkovision's ( I believe thats how you spell the name ) version of Thomas, Percy, and the caol and look at it from 2:11-2:13 you will see a season 1 truck in the line of moving trucks and it does look like the one from Dirty objects or any other time they showed a truck's face in season 1.

With an up-close pic like this, does anyone notice how the eyes are basically made of paper and crayon? Notice the brown crayon... If someone just painted a cargo car gray or a dark color of that area, you just make some eyes from paper and a little strip of black paper to make a mouth. Hmm... Tempting...

If you look close enough, there are only 3 different faces really. Both wagons have the same faces and both vans have the same faces, with the exception of the last one. Bachmann probably would incorporate more variety and not just put the same face on every van, truck, etc. but I like the idea of more of a TV-Series-esque face. I'd like to see a van with a face. *Cough* Troublesome Truck #3 *Cough*

Im just saying two things: 1: Happy Birthday to me. and 2: If T.T. 3 is a van wouldnt just use the toolings of of the vent. van? Look at the diffrent T.T.s and open cargo wagons they have the sme toolings but different colors, same goes for the tankers.

There's more than one type of van. There's the CCT Van (Mail Van painted brown), Salt Van, Vent. Van, and other vans short and tall.

-Yes, 50% of them are ventilated vans, but there is that dark colored van with the huge face up in front that is no ventilated van (or at least one like all of the others), and on that same track at the back there are two smaller vans coupled to a cattle wagon (they are not ventilated vans, at least not like the common ventilated van).

Bachmann has a lot of options. The entire web-page that I used for a source shows that "Troublesome Trucks" are more than just wagons. There is no definite statements as of now confirming that Troublesome Truck #3 is a wagon. There are many options, even odd ones such as troublesome cattle wagons or tankers.
I wouldn't mind a troublesome van myself, but either way I'm interested to see the face Bachmann gives it. :)

I always thought that was first used in season 5 in Haunted Henry. You can only wonder what T.T. #3 will bring.

To tell you the truth, I think that sense it made in china, The Color before the paint is green, and they just place a head on it instead of painting any part of it.(Come on Bachmann, don't be like Hornby(lol))

Someone, AnthonyP(????), guessed this exactly right. He said a cattle car wit a face and that is exactly what truck 3 is. Hats off to him, he is the only one who guessed exactly what it would be.
