Title: Bachmann James Question

i just got a bachmann james in the mail and i want to paint his wheels and the spot under the smokebox black and uh what type of paint should i use ???

i use "Testors" for every thing, it works perfectly on metal, plastic, im not sure about anything else though...  ;)

just a plain black modeling spray paint works good

Go for a well known brand, such as Humbrol or Revell, and go for Satin Black. It's half and half between Gloss and Matt. Also, buy a decent brush and some fine masking tape whilst you are at it, I use Tamiya masking tape.

  Same here, Testors, is the best

For some things, certainly. But if you use the metallic paints on anything you intend to handle frequently, you have to cover them with clear coat. Otherwise your skin oils will rub them off.
