Hey Mr. Bach Man, does it seem likely that the 2-6-0 will be re-released to the same standard as the other models: eg. DCC/DCC sound and a "goodie bag" full of different add-on bits.

...I won´t speak for the Bach-man; but its more likely that they will produce a complete new model of a other similar type. The 2-6-0 is not constructed to be easily converted to DCC, so this would more or less mean a nearly new model...
She´s a beauty, for sure. To me - especially in her C&S livery and numbering...

Just in case it takes awhile, you might want to consider converting your 2 6 0 to sound.
I just recently converted my On30 2 6 0 to sound. I used the Digitraxx SDH164D Decoder.

It was not the easiest install but normally I work in HO so I found it easier to work on this larger locomotive.

Not a problem on the advice and I forgot to mention how cool it is to have and be able to control sound in a Locomotive! :) :) :)
We have a sound shay and climax, and whenever people come to visit they are as shocked to see them :D
