Title: New transformer.
Post by: phillyreading on August 30, 2010, 11:09:46 AM
Just looked at the product section for Williams and saw the new transformer, but it leaves me with a question. What kind of power cord does it have and how long a cord?  ??? Also didn't see what kind of terminal connections it has to the track.

Dear Lee,
I'd say the cord is in the 4-5 foot range. It has screw terminals on the back.
Have fun!

When you say screw terminals; do you mean the type that need a screwdriver to tighten or do you mean the type that are on the CW-80 and the Z-1000, that can be snugged up with a pair of pliers?

And youmight want to place horseshoe type connectors on the wires before going to the transformer.  A tighter connection!
