Dear Bachmann. I need to make up 6 1/2" gap to close my siding. I see 3 1/2 and 2 1/2 inch packs and a misc shorter pack without dimentions. Which do I need and what am I buying? Got trains.

Don't know if the 10 pc. straight assortment #44592 (which will have two 2" straights included) is widely available yet.
Get four 2" straights with the 90 degree crossing.

Have you tried cutting a piece of flex-track to the size you need? you will have to cut & remove the plastic ties to allow for the track coupler. A good saw will give you a clean cut. I have used this technique several time with success. Caution! make sure the dimension between the rails remain the same or derailments may occur.

If he is using all EZ Track, why would he want to throw a piece of flex track in there that he has to hack up.. The keyword here is 'EZ".

It is now widely available. I ordered and received the 10-piece pack from Hobbylinc last week. It doesn't include the 4 1/2" half-length straight, so you would have to get that separately. The 10 piece set does include the 2" piece.
They are out there,,quite possibly the most handy track pack you can have for EZ for those odd fits
