Title: anyone want to comment on this?
Post by: bigdodgetrain on October 27, 2010, 07:32:29 PM
found this on another forum.

WBB [Williams By Bachmann] obtained the former K-line Scale Steamer tooling.

That is [and not limited to]:

Scale Hudson
Dreyfus Hudson
Berkshire
USRA 2-8-2
PRR A5
PRR B6
PRR Scale K4
Shay
4-6-0 Commuter tank

Should be some interesting April York announcements for 2011. Gather those $$!

Should be a nice product for Williams.

Are/will the products be available?

Who owns them?

IMHO they had a lot of nice stuff.

??? It will be interesting to see what actually happens with all the K-Line stuff. So many rumors are out there, but "time will tell" what really happens.  ::)
K-Line had some good stuff as well as some bad stuff. The economy is probally another factor to be thrown into the K-Line equation!
One of their better ideas was a three unit set of powered diesel engines, some of us need that kind of power for their hopper car runs.

Bachmann has purchased 1-2 Co. in the last year or two. I have NO particulars on who/what was purchased. BUT......I expect some "new" items to come down the pike in the next 2-3 years.
