Just bought a Bachmann Shay. Does anyone know why the Bachmann has a post offering replacement gears? Is there something wrong with the way it comes. out of the box?

The new shays have no issues, while the shays released several years ago sometimes had issues, but the new ones are completely fine.

They same issue has happened with the On30 Shay, two truck HO Climax.
