Title: MRC Sound and Power 7000
Post by: mf5117 on November 25, 2010, 08:10:52 AM
Has anyone here, had any experience with this controller . And could you please tell me a little about it . I picked one up last weekend . Dirt cheap . All I know is it has different power options for different size scale from G to N . And has some sort of sound option for diesel and steam . It still works for being and older controller . And is like new . Has the box but no manuel .

Old Timer,

You're still quicker than I am, ya beat me to the punch.

Mark,

Here is the direct link to the on-line manual:

http://www.modelrec.com/resources/trainSound/AA333.pdf

The gray text is a little hard to read.  You might have to play with your monitor's picture settings.

It looks like you have to add (connect it to) an 8 ohm speaker (box).

Power output to track looks very respectable.

A google or bing search on "MRC Sound and Power 7000" finds a few forum discussions.

Hope this helps.

Sincerely,

Joe Satnik
