Title: Questions for the Bach-Man about the new Lighthouse
Post by: JD417 on December 13, 2010, 09:22:47 PM
i have to say that it looks great!

but i have a few questions about it;

1.) How tall is it?
2.) Does it have a light?
3.) if so does it spin?
4.) will it be able to work with DCC?
5.) is it able to be screwed down without affecting anything?

Thanks

Dear JD,
I don't have one here to measure, but it's about a foot tall. It has an LED that gradually increases in intensity to give the illusion of rotation. It works by attaching it to the ACC terminals of your power pack. I don't understand question 5...

THANK YOU!  ;D

question 5 was basically asking; is there a screw hole or will it need to be glued down?

I wouldent if I were you, I would make a blank scenery base specifically for the structure, and when I need to move it, I could place it back in the box until I get the layout to the destenation. with out the light house breaking.

hope that answers your question

Dear JD,
On the Sodor layouts I used hot glue to fasten the buildings- they're very stable, but easy to remove if necessary.
