has bachmann made empty shells that can be replaced on locos or do you have to buy a new loco to get a new shell?
You can buy a shell from the parts department, but they are at a minimum $25 after shipping, some are more, it is better to just buy a new loco. Ex. a F7 or FT is usually $40-$30, the shell alone would be $25 .
