Title: Buss wiring

I have a Lionel ZW transformer and am running a buss wire under the table and around the track layout. Do I connect the buss wire to the transformer at both ends (forming a circular loop) or do I only connect it once,when it leaves the transformer ?

If you use a large enough wire once will work, preferably # 14 gauge wires on both the hot and common.
