Diesel 10 is a well known character who many feel deserve a chance.
Character Summary:
First introduced in Thomas and the Magic Railroad Diesel 10 was a force not to be reconded with. He had 2 minions Splatter and Dodge and the most interesting feature..Pinchy. A claw used to destroy, break, or cause any kind of destruction. He was never seen again after he was "defeated" in the broken viaduct accident.....until he re-appeared in Calling All Engines. He went from the bad guy to the hero of the Sodor Airport. He has been making movie appearences ever since. In Misty Island Rescue he seemed to return to the bad guy side nut until the release of Day of the Diesels we will not know Diesel 10's fate.

Yeah, that would work! :D After all, Diesel 10's signature feature is his claw. It would have to move around at least somewhat.
unless it was posable. he would make one great model
it does work! (the moving pincy) mine has it and it can move up down left right and right now im working on the open and close! :)
Out of all of the TATMRR characters, D10 has the best chance. He was in CAE and MIR and had the most apperences out of the four. It would be interesting.

apart from thomas but they made him already I might get hom one problem is he'ed never pull a train so I'd probably get him for the sake of collecting but he never pulled a train so yeah............................................. ::)
Thomas is not a TATMRR character, sure he was in it, but it wasn't his first/only apperence. He had been on TV for about say 20 years when the movie came out.
I was thing when diesel 10 went onto the barge when he fell of the viaduct,
maybe he wanted to return for reveng on thomas. Now diesel 10 is back in day of the diesels!!!

The offical Steam Team is 1-7 + Emily, but to many older fans it is 1-11, or in that range.
In HiT's mind its 1-7 with Emily, but in my mind, its 1-11 with no Emily.

Well those characters I mentioned should have another chance in my opinion.
Yes, having some established classic characters would be much nicer than the "one-episode wonders" HiT's been dishing out for pure commercialism. :P
I mean now-a-days kids won't know BoCo or Daisy/they won't know D&D and B&B too well. Same goes for Duck and Oliver...can't they be re-released?
Maybe they felt characters like Duck, Oliver, Donald, Douglas, and BoCo were too wise and mature for the show. :P Sure Edward's wise, but has anyone noticed HiT has kind of downgraded his (and everyone else's) intelligence?

That's also why Duck, Oliver, and the Scottish Twins are my favorite characters. They're sensible and mature engines.

Back on track (pun intended) to Diesel 10, do you think Splatter and Dodge (Splodge) should be made as well?
Would I like them to be made? Yes. Do I think they'll be made? No. They only had one appearance, after all, and that was over 10 years ago. If they appear in Day of the Diesels, they might have a shot. A small shot, but a shot nonetheless.

also Bachmann UK did make the prototype for diesel and 10 pinchy ould probabaly poen and close at the front.
Good point. Diesel 10 is based on a BR Class 42 "Warship". Bachmann UK has made the prototype, as TobytheTram16 has just said.
i plan to make a diesel 10 later this year, using either the old hornby model tht is being brought out once agin or the old mainline (now bachmann branchline uk) model.
