QSI does not sell there sound system seperatly but you can get and MRC HO steam sound modul and wireless controller. They list it at $84.98. They claim if your Engine is DCC ready it plugs right in.

Internatioal Hobby Corp. makes a "Sound Car" in HO. It makes a chuff sound of sorts. It is triggered by closing a switch (actuallly a plated spot on a truck axle). You should be able to come up with a similar triggering method on your loco.

If you will be satisfied with just chuff sound, the car is only $20.
