Title: wiring a revolution receiver with a P8 phoenix sound in a K27
Post by: toadhollow on March 10, 2011, 08:43:48 PM
the only thing that I'm unsure about is ,which are the wires that come from the engines optical sensors on the cylinders for the chuff ?. I need to know the color so I can reroute them to the phoenix. sorry if this seems simple to some folks ,but I"am a newbie in the electronics field.

The optical sensors in the K-27 don't work all that well. You are better off to put magnets on the the tender axle and use a reed switch. By the way I'm a revet counter and I gave up and used the read switch method and it works great.
