2001 catalog shows MSRP of $34 for Dockside SF #52652 and B&O #52662
If you put up a picture of the box and its stamped end flap, and a close-up of the loco, people could give you a closer estimate of how old it is.
By its box number I'm pretty certain it is older than 2001.

If it runs and is in mint condition, I have seen them sell for $35, if it doesn't run you can still get $12 for it for parts, in non mint you may get $25 if it runs.
