Dear Mr. Bachmann:
Could the factory also produce a wood burner version with:
- diamond stack
- red wine paint on boiler, wheels, cab, tender
- black smoke box
- wood load in tender
- smoke box silver front
- box headlamp and box tail lamp
- link & pin cowcatcher
as per the previous 2-4-2 version of the 2-6-0 Indy ?
This Indy loco has a lot of potential for other attractive versions.
A new boiler casting with the:
- front sand dome removed
- the rear sand dome and middle steam dome swapped
would greatly improve this loco's appearance.
A wood cab casting would also be nice.
I am looking forward to the upcoming yellow handcar. Could the factory install plastic bushings on the metal frame for the axles to pass through so that the car's mechanism will last longer?
