No, this is not a thread about what locomotives are DCC ready. I'm very happy Bachmann has seen the light and has returned to the DCC ready trend. No longer do I have to discard Bachmann decoder in exchange for another manufacturers decoder. As I've said before, thanks for paying excellent attention to input received. Oh, and I will definitely be picking up some of those new 2-6-0s!
I wonder if they are still on schedule, the 2-6-0 's that is. I really want one for my Christmas layout :)
I have seen the issue about the on board decoders in many forums. I am sure that somehow Bachmann is aware of all the complaints.
If they go with on board lights-motor decoder only, I am hoping they go wit the new SoundTraxx non sound decoders that should match up very well with the Bachmann locos that come with on board Tsunami. Both are suppose have the same running characteristics to make consisting easier.
Even now, that new non sound decoder is only $17.00 for the HO scale one.
