I had a thought earlier, i was reading the 'where is sodro?' thread and thought about doing a thread where a story can be written. Here are the rules: your part of the story should be no longer than 10 lines, you should make sure the storyline is nothing rude, no silly business like thomas eat an ice cream etc, you cannot post twice in a row (let someone else have a go!) and make sure it will join onto the section before your post without and confusion or delay. Ok i will start off:
Oliver was shunting at Knapford yard, he was making a train ready for Edward to take to the mainland. Sir Topham Hatt came over to see him.
'Oliver, once you have finished here, i would like you to go to the quarry and help Bill and Ben', he boomed.
'Wheres Mavis?' Oliver enquired.
'She is being repaired after having too much dust from the quarry go into her radiator', he replied.
'Right ok sir, i will be there right away!' Oliver beemed.
Sir Topham Hatt then left for the station. Edward soon arrived to take the train. Once he had gone, Oliver set off for the quarry.
Okay, whos next? :)
At the quarry, Oliver saw the twins brawling over who's line of trucks was whose. "That's mine!" they said to each other.
"Stop arguing, you two," chuckled Oliver. "Now, we can shunt these trucks the Great Western Way, or the Wrong Way."
"The Great Western Way sounds fun," said Bill.
"Yeah," said Oliver. Then the quarry manager arrived. he told them that BoCo was coming to take some stones to Brendam Docks.
"Let's get to work then," said Oliver.
The engines set to work shunting trucks. But Bill and Ben were rough with the trucks.
"Ready, steady... go!" They cried, and bumped them roughly.
"Ooh! ooh! Ooh!" cried the trucks. The twins laughed.
"DO the job properly you two." Scolded Oliver.
"You sound just like Fergus." Teased Bill.
"Lighten up and have some fun!" Joked Ben
*CRASH*
BoCo soon arrived BoCo: "Where are my trucks of stone? Bust my buffers Oliver what happened!?!" He said looking at Oliver derailed.
Oliver: "They are NOT Great Western" He said shuddering.
BoCo: "Well I better go get Rocky and Har...*Oliver interupts*
Oliver: "They went to to get them"
BoCo: "Okay, well I see the cars over there in the sidings,...I hope all goes well Great Western".
Then from seemingly no where Arry and Bert oiled up.
Arry: "What happened Lil Oly? Forget that you go on the trancks NOT OFF" Bert: "Good one Arry!"
Oliver: "Go away! Besides its not my fault"...
arry: "well we'll help you out." said arry sarcasticly
bert: "yeah." said bert being sarcastic
*CRASH*
arry and bert rammed the mess and ended up on top of oliver!
arry: "uhhhhhhh." said arry comfused.
oliver: "well you didnt do it the great western way!" oliver mumbled with stones in his mouth.
Bill and Ben were soon on their way back to the quarry with Rocky.
'I dont think we should have teased him about the great western way' Ben sighed.
'Your right, it was very silly of us' Bill added, looking ashamed.
The twins carried on, but just around the corner was Toby. His driver and fireman were hearding some sheep that had strayed onto the tracks.
'Bother' Bill said, 'please hurry, we have to go rescue Oliver'.
'You canot rush sheep', snapped Toby.
The twins waited patiently for the line to be cleared.
Just then Donald and Douglas appeared with a train of cattle cars.
Donald: Were are here to pick up the sheep.
Douglas: Farmer McColl has been worried sick about them.
Delighted, Bill and Ben set off once again to the quarry to help clear, perhaps, the worst accident in Sodor history.
When Bill and Ben arrived at the scene they saw how it truly was the worst accident in history.
While digging for stone Thumper caused an avalanche of rock to cover the three engines and their crew.
All of the sudden a muffled "H..el..p" cam from behind the rocks. Bill and Ben were unaware of who it was.
But they then realized there was no way Rocky could clear this up all by himself.
So Bill and Ben raced off to the Search and Rescue center.
They alerted Harold of the situation ad he went to find as muchhelp as possible.
Along the way Bill and Ben raced down the main line! But the massive amount of heat and harsh weather condition ruined the track.
And since Ben was leading he derailed himself. "BOTHER"
Bill: " Got to go...I'll send help!"
Ben "Don't leave me alone on the main liiiinnnne........GGGGGoooRRRddddooooNNN!!!!"
Ben's fear proved to be correct; Gordon was thundering down the tracks witha 5-coach express. He saw Ben.
"OOOOHHHHHH!!!!" groaned Gordon. "Get out my way!" and he slammed on his brakes. Thankfully, he stopped just in time
"Phew. If you hadn't stopped, I would have been sent to the scrapyard," joked Ben. Gordon simply fumed and let off steam angrily
On the other side of the Island, several diesels from the Other Railway were trying to sabotage the North Western Railway......
it was a cold, wet, rainy night. In an old shed a class 44 was just about to fall asleep. The shed had missing holes in the walls and the roof leaked in several places making it easy for the rain to come in. The class 44 didn't care one bit, at least it was a place to rest for the night then it's homeward bound in the morning. A shadowy figure rolled up beside him.
"ah it's been a while."
"yes it has, D199"
"well what do you want?"
"I want you to help me destroy the North Western Railway once any for all!"
"that's what you said last time and the time before that and..."
"No but this time my plan will work!"
"You also said that when you took over the Steamworks, that plan failed too"
"Yeah well i don't have thows stupid shunters. lets just have a moment of silence for Splodge. Den and Dart, forget about them, they are as evil as 12 year old pickles."
"oh but you have Diesel, Arry and Bert."
"and D261, D40125 and you, Spamcan. Speaking of the twit he should be here by now, but that's what happens when you travel 15 miles per hour"
"oy!"
"don't worry I feel we can take it over with some more of our friends ask the others, spread the word, the North Western Railway will be ours!" *cough* *cough*
"looks like you need a trip to your Dieselworks"
"Yeah, sure, come with me D199 and plot our plan with the other diesels"
Diesel had finally cought up to Diesel 10.
"Come on you, to the Dieselworks!"
"But we just got here and our rods ache"
"O cry me a river full of Holy Water!"
And off they went into the darkness of the night to plot the end of the NWR.
Back on Sodor, Bill arrived back at the quarry to see workmen doing their best to excavate the three engines.
When enough rock and broken freight car had been cleared, A cable was hooked between Bill and Oliver, and Bill pulled as hard as he could in order to free Oliver.
"HEAVE!!! HEAVE!!!" cheered Harold.
"I'm heaving! I'm heaving!" cried Bill.
At last, Oliver came loose, and Bill stopped for a brief rest.
Just then, Duck came up the track. "*Whew*, thank goodness you're all right," he said. "I came as fast as I could when I heard the news."
"Oh dear! I almost forgot!" exclaimed Bill. "Ben's derailed on the main line. We got to help him, too!"
"We still need to pull out Arry and Bert!" said Harold.
"In that case, leave Ben to me!" said Duck. "Don't worry, Bill, I'll be gentle with your twin. You have my word. Oliver, get yourself a well deserved rest."
"Thanks, buddy," said Oliver.
And with that, Duck set off to find the breakdown train, while the workmen got back to excavating the two diesels.
Ben: "Well its about time!"
Duck: "Sorry for the delay, but don't worry I'll have you back on soon enough"
**Random Breaktrain noises"
Ben: "Thank you"
Duck: "No worries I onlydidwhat's right...or the Great Westernly thing to do"
Ben: "WE GET IT ALL READY!! You and Oliver constantly talk about how good it is to be great western no wonder all the other engines find you annoying!!!"
Duck: "FINE IF YOU ALL THINK WE ARE LIKE THAT MAYBE ME AND OLVER WILL GO TO THE MAINLAND!"
**and he rushed away to get Oliver**
Ben: "Duck...GREAT WESTERN...Come back!"
**and he raced after him***
Duck eventually got Oliver and then they went to some abandoned sidings so they wouldn't be found til their escape...they waited...
Ben rushed in to Knapford at its busiest hour to round up a search party unfortunately most of the engines were busy but his driver found the engine schedule and was able to make a serch party out of Ben, Hank, Bill, BoCo, Percy, & Harold.
***back in the sidings***
Oliver: "Duck its cold here... can't wego home to our better sheds"
Duck: "No theyy disgraced our Great Western heritage we our going to OUR real home"
Just then, Donald and Douglas pulled up next to them.
"Hmph, I suppose you're going to turn us in?" asked Duck.
"Of course not," said Douglas. "Even though we may not entirely agree with what you're planning, we've decided to come, too. We Little Westerns must stick together."
"Plus," included Donald, "A larger group will help you avoid being scrapped."
"Scrap?!" exclaimed Douglas, "Uh, on second thought maybe we better..."
"Don't you dare back out now, Mr. Douglas!" said a voice from behind Douglas.
"Toad?" said Oliver, "Is that you?"
"Ah, he made me bring him along," said Douglas.
"Well what did you expect?" said Toad, "Surely, Mr. Oliver, you didn't think I'd let you go to the Mainland alone, now did you?"
"I wasn't alone. Duck was with me."
"Oh, you know what I meant!"
"So when do we leave?" asked Donald.
"Well, now is about as good as it's going to get," said Duck. "Let's go."
So the four engines started off on their journey, although they all wondered if it would truly be worth it.
Meanwhile on the other side of the island the diesels were divising a plan on how to get revenge and not just the NWR but all of Sodor. If their plans were to go into action, then the four Great Western Engines would never make it home..
Toad: "Someone is coming."
All of the sudden Mavis arrived.
Mavis: "Oliver I'm sorryfor getting you into this mess but if you all are gunna leave...leave now... today satly obtained some info on the Diesels plan to...invade sodor...take it for their own me, BoCo, salty, Rusty we disagree with their methods"
Oliver: "Woah woah woah"
Duck: "You got that right"
D & D: "Wha...?" & "Ock Aye"
Mavis: "I don't have enough time to inform the other engines you have to get the message to the mainland...FAST"
Douglas: "Where's Sir Topham Hatt"
Mavis: "Already covered... Lady Hatt, Sir, and his mother have been taken out by Spencer, the Diesels suspected that he was only taking the Duke and Ducthes home"
Duck: "So how are we going to leave without getting spotted?"
Donald: "Yeah!"
Mavis: "Salty has set up a transport for you at the docks. You will be uploaded on a ship by Cranky and escourted to Misty Island until all is safe and"
Oliver : "Why not take the tunnel?"
Mavis: "Its guarded..I must go...Tomorrow will be rough...And goodluck"
so Oliver, Toad, Duck, Bill, Ben and the Scottish twins set off to the docks.
The cavalcade bucketed along the main line. Pip and Emma were behind them.
Pip: You must hurry! D199 is right behind us.
Donald: lo' sakes, we canna go to fast orl we'll run oot of wooter
The escaping steam engines could see a signal box up ahead, so could Pip.
Pip: keep going toward Brendem Docks, we'll try to slow down D199.
Toad: Thank you Miss Pip and Miss Emma. What are you going to do?
Pip: Were escaping to the mainland Stepney said that there is a shed available in the National Railway Museum. We'll Hide there with Boco. Goodbye for now Toad. And GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU!
Pip stopped by the signal box.
Pip: Excuse me! Signal man? The Fat Controller told me to tell you that the diesel coming is supposed to be on the branchline could you put that right please?
Signal man: why, yes, of course. did the Fat Controller tell you why?
Pip: Yes. HE'S ON THE WRONG BLOODY TRACK!
The signal man switched the points and D199 was sent onto a branchline.
A little while later they arrived at the Docks. Salty was waiting for them.
Salty: A hoy you 7! theres no time to talk, but i will fill you in. We have evacuated the whole island. The mountain engines are safe up there, because the diesels don't know about them.
while Salty talked Cranky lifted Each engine onto a large cargo ship.
Salty: The narrow gauge engines are on their way to the Talyllyn Railway and the Arelsdale Engines are on their way to Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway. Pip, Emma, Daisy, Bear and BoCo are going to the NRM. You will be going to the Bluebell Railway to hide on Stepney's branch. Thomas, Percy, Toby, Gordon, Henry, James, Edward, and Emily are on a railway called Copley Hill. the steam engines are nice there and they welcomed them to stay in an old engine shed they have. Molly, Nevile, Murdoch, Arthur, Whiff, Stanley and Charlie are going to stay some were on the mainland that is safe that they know of. Hiro made it home safely. Rosie and Scruff made it to the Forrest of Dean but Billy never made it. He was traveling by himself, the dummy, and ran out of coal. You will meet Harvey, Flora, and Fergus on Misty Island. Hank and Victor are on their way to the States. So Billy was the only one to get get caught, sadly.
By the time Salty was done talking the engines and Toad were loaded on the ship.
Duck: What about you and Mavis?
Salty: we have a plan, don't worry! God Speed to you engines!
then the ship goes off to go. soon D199 realised he was on the wrong track and went back to the signal box.
D199: "hey you! yeah you! im on the wrong track!"
Signal man: "no your not! pip told me that you were suposed to go down that track!"
D199 "of course! they told you to make me go on the wrong track! CHANGE MY TRACK NOW YOU BLOODY IDIOT!!!!!!!!!!!"
Signal man: "YOUR SUPPOSED TO BE ON THAT TRACK YOU BLOODY STUPID ENGINE! NOW GO ON THE TRACK!!!!!!
D199: "JUST CHANGE THE TRACK!!!!!!!!!!!!
Signal man: " FINE YOU STUPID ENGINE!!!!!!!!!!!!"
D199: "now i will go get them and rule sodor forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
meanwhile on the ship....
Duck: " i sure hope this plan of mavis' and salty"s works!
Diesel oiled up.
Diesel:Oh hello Duck.
Duck:Hello Diesel,What's up?
Diesel:....
Why are we doing this? >:(
**On the Boat looking out to the Misty sea**
Douglas: "What's that!"
Donlad: "It's The Lock Ness Monster!!"
Oliver: "Don't be silly thats Captain"
Captain: "I have a message!...some Diesels found the where abouts of Thomas through Toby (1-7) (except Gordon he is on his way to Doncaster) and have captured them! Its part of there plan to use them as bait to bring back Sir Tophamm Hatt to the Railway!!
Duck: "This is out of hand"
D&D (at the same time): "Agreed"
Toad: "What are we going to do Mr. Oliver!"
Captain: "See what I don't know is how they knew where the engines were going." I over heard Arry, Bert, Splatter, and Dodge saying they were going to...Misty Island"
Duck: "You don't think Mavis is working with them and sending us into a trap do you?"
Oliver: "Nonsense I think we have a tainted Steamie on our hands!"
*****Whispering to themselves*****
Ben: "Who?"
Bill: "Who...ha ha ha...and you call yourself my twin. It was me! Today while you were on the mainline I was talking to Arry and Bert about this and they said if I help I can rue Sodor as well!! Want to join me?"

Meanwhile, on the mainland, Sir Topham Hatt (a.k.a. the Fat Controller) was completely dumbfounded by the recent events that had transpired. Both his job and his life were in jeopardy, and he had no idea how to deal with the situation.
"*Sigh*, I feel like a really useless engi... I mean controller," he said to himself.
Just then, the telephone rang.
"S-s-sir, this is the Knapford St-Station Master. D-D-D-Diesel 10 would like to speak you, sir."
"Mmm... Put him on."
"H-here he is, m-my lord. (Please put me down now...)"
"Hello there, Fatty!" Boomed Diesel 10, "Just thought you'd like to know that I have Thomas, Edward, and the rest of the Steam Team *shudders* being held captive at the scrap yard. Now if you don't get back to the Island within 24 hours, I'll have each of them scrapped... one by one. MWA-HA-HA-HA-HA!!!" *click*
"Everything alright,sir?" asked the butler.
For a moment Sir Topham Hatt did nothing, he just stared out the window at nothing in particular. Then, "...Have the station ready Gordon for me. I'm going back to Sodor... alone."
"As you wish, sir..." said the butler.
Diesel 10 was overjoyed, as Sir Topham Hatt did not figure out his bluff. Diesel 10 had no true idea where Thomas and the other engines were, but he now knew that Sir Topham Hatt fell for his trap....
meanwhile on the other railway.... the diesels had billy captured. he was in an old shed at the top right-hand corner of a lonely scrapyard. he could see in front of him a line that went straight out of the yard, but the points were switched so that the diesels could get to him and a small DL7 locomotive guarded the way. "if only i had some more coal, and the points were switched so i could go out." he thought to himself.
"pisssssssssssst!"
Billy:"who's there?"
Elizabeth: "It's Elizabeth, you stupid engine!" Elizabeth was on the road next to the yard.
Billy: "Elizabeth? I never knew you cared about an engine like me?"
Elizabeth: "Of course i do, dummy. After all I AM a steam engine, too. now, here, i brought you some coal. And Mr. Percival and Jem Cole are here, too."
Mr. Percival: "That's right, i'm here to drive you away."
Jem: "and i'm going to drive Elizabeth back home to sodor, once we build your fire and brought you up to full steam."
Billy: "Shouldn't you be with the narrow gauge engines, and especially looking after Skarloey and Rheneas,because of their old age?"
Mr. Percival: "Don't worry, they are fine, they love talking to the Talyllan Railway engines, because they never get to see them. Now we don't have much time."
Mr. Percival snuck through a hole in the fence and set to work bringing up Billy's steam. it took some time for the pressure to build. just then they heard a horn. "A steamie's escaping!" said a diesel. Billy, Mr. Percival, Jem Cole and Elizabeth held their breath. All the diesels rushed to were they heard the diesel shouting.
Billy: "Phew, that was close"
Now they had to act quickly and quietly. Jem ran down and switched the points to let them escape.
Elizabeth: "So long, Billy"
Billy:"Thank you Elizabeth and thank you Jem! Hopefully i'll see you again on sodor!"
and together Billy and Mr. Percival set down the line with out the diesels knowing.
Gordon arrived at the station
Gordon:"what the heck is going on fatty"?
the fat controller:"call me that ever again and trevor will drag your boiler to the scrapyard"!
Gordon:"but whats going on"?
the fat controller:"none of your beeswax"!
Gordon:'Fine"!!!
and they set off into the night . . .

At last, the Great Westerns, the Scottish Twins, and the China Clay Twins got to Misty Island.
"*Shudders* This place sure is creepy," said Douglas.
"The perfect place to run into the Loch Ness Monster, eh, Dougie?"
"Och, enough with your 'Loch Ness' baloney, Donald. We need to find shelter."
"Hopefully before the diesels find us," put in Oliver.
"Agreed," said Duck, "Bill, take us to the secret shed you were telling us about. We'll rendezvous with Harvey, Flora, and Fergus in the morning."
"Oh, uh... right," said Bill, "Here we go."
Shortly after they started off, Ben whispered to Bill, "What'll you do when the Diesels ambush us in the 'secret' shed like you said they plan?"
"You really think I'm going to lead us into a trap? Don't be silly! Unfortunately, now I've got to find a different shed, and I don't know Misty Island's railway any better than the Mountain Railway. Hopefully we'll run into some shelter by chance."
"'By chance'. Oh, great" moaned Ben, as the six engines (and break van) puffed off into the mist.
Billy was racing down the mainline on his way to the docks. He had just passed Maron station when he heard voices. "Help", siad the voices. "What was that asked Billy?", asked Billy. "I dont know.", said Mr. Percival. The continued up the line when suddenly they saw five loaded flatbeds. On them were Trevor, Bertie, Terrance, George, and Bulgy. "What are you doing here?!", exclaimed Billy. "They trapped us too said Trevor and they are still looking for the others.", said Trevor. "Others?", asked Mr. Percival. The "Others" turned out to be all the vehicles of Sodor. Carloine, the Lorries, and Madge were all on flatbeds down the line. Once Elizabeth and Jack and the Pack were found they ALL would be scrapped........
The diesels still had no idea about the tunnel connecting Sodor to Misty Island. But one very important garbage engine did, who had no idea of the evens on Sodor...............
An hour later, the six engines were still traveling around Misty Island.
"Bill," said Oliver, "are you sure you know where we're going?"
"Uh... of course I do!" answered Bill, "we'll be there shortly".
At last, they came to an old abandoned roundhouse with a rusty turntable.
*Whew*, that was close. Bill thought to himself. "See? A secret shed, just like I told you."
"Well, as long as the turntable works," said Donald, "It should be fine for the night."
Luckily, the turntable did work (but just barely), and all the engines (and the break van) bunkered down for the night.
But a few hours later, the engines awoke to the sound of oily motors, and there on the turntable, were Splatter and Dodge.
"Well, I see you've had a change of heart, eh, Bill?" inquired Splatter, "Of course, going to a different shed certainly made it harder for us to track you guys down."
"What in the name of Sodor is he talking about, Bill?" asked Duck.
"I... I... IT WAS A MOMENT OF WEAKNESS!!! I never should never have listened to those two devils, Arry and Bert. But now... I've left the past behind me. So if you want the Great Westerns, you'll have to get through me!"
"Oh, I don't think you need to worry about that," said Dodge, "for you see, Bill... we're on your side."
"Whaaa...??!!!!" Everyone exclaimed.
Splatter:"Oh yes, ever since diesel 10 abandoned us and left us to die in an abadoned scrapyard on the mainland we've wanted REVENGE >:( >:(
The steam engines took some long consideration about this

Gordon arrived at knapford, the fat controller thanked him and got into his car to go to the scrapyards to "save" his railway . . .
Duck: well if we all want to bring him down you can join us.
Ben: Are you insane Duck?! We dont know if we can trust these two!!
Then a voice came from through the thick fog.
Mystery Engine: You can trust them, I saw what happened to them after Diesel 10 finally got off the barge back when Thomas was saving the magic railroad.
It was Lady, she had Rusty too.
Lady: We scaped onto the magic railroad when this all started, so we thought we should come and help out!
Donald: Right, we need a plan...Dodge, Splatter, tell us what ya know!
Dodge: Well Diesel 10 plan to trick Sir Topham Hatt has worked, he and Gordon are on their way now.
Oliver: Oh no! We need to warn him and stop him from getting back to Knapford!
Splatter: He said if 'Fatty' does not come he is going to start scrapping every steamie left on Sodor Property!!
Doulgas: Right, I have a plan...
Sorry it went over 10 lines, I just got carried away. Line limited lifted!!
In the morning, the engines met at the entrance to the Misty Island Tunnel.
"You all ready for this?" asked Splatter.
"Hold up," said Oliver, "We're still waiting for Bill."
At last, Bill arrived. "I let Harvey, Flora, and Fergus know of our plan, so they headed off to the Bluebell railway on their own."
"Alright, now are we all ready?" asked Dodge.
"Ready as we'll ever be," answered Duck.
So the cavalcade set off into the long dark tunnel, with Splatter and Dodge in the lead. When they reached the other end, they saw Diesel blocking it.
"Ah, greetings, fellow Class 08's. I assume you found our runaways. What the... and you captured Lady, too?!"
"Correct as usual, Diesel. We'd like permission to pass in order to take these scoundrels to Diesel 10," said Splatter.
"I don't see Arry and Bert with you. Where are they?"
"Oh, uh... they're searching Misty Island's coast for any more convicts," answered Splatter.
"Yyyyeeeeaaahh. 'Searching' the coast. (Heh, heh, heh.)" Put in Dodge.
"Hmm... very well. Carry on, then."
Diesel backed up and let Splatter and Dodge's 'prisoners' through.
"Phase 1, complete," said Douglas, and the cavalcade set off for Knapford.
The group finally reached Knapford just past midnight, they had to go the long route to avoid detection.
Although there were too many of them to go into Knapford and not be seen as there was no cover there.
"I'll go." Said Duck.
"And me." Said Donald
So the others said goodbye and good luck and waited a little over a mile from the station.
Duck and Donald crept along the two lines beside the station and stopped just before the edge of the wall trying to hear if anyone was inside.
"I cant hear anything." Said Donald
"Neither ca... Wait who's that."
They heard a gruff voice say "The Fat controller should be here anytime now as he believed we had the engines, decent people are so easy to manipulate."
It was Diesel 10 "We have diesel teams looking for the steam engines as we speak, they may not be the brightest but they will get the job done... eventually."
Someone grunted in reply "I've even heard tell that Lady was sighted, if its true I can't wait to get my hands.... claw on her." He chuckled.
"And thats basically it, and if I may ask sir what do you intend to do with The Fat controller when he does arrive.
Then a new voice sounded, unfamiliar to Duck and Donald it was high, cold, and clear.
"Thats my business... I do not trust any of my followers especially the diesels as they would not be with me if they had anywhere else to go. They are with me because they fear me... as do you, and I prefer to keep it that way."
The voice seemed to be empty of any human emotion, Diesel 10 said nothing.
"Go and keep an eye on the docks and tell Diesel to patrol the mainline. I'll wait for The Fat controller and I want reports every hour.
"Yes... Boss." Said Diesel 10 and oiled smoothly away.
There was silence for a few moments and then just as the sound of Diesel 10's motor died away Donald and Duck heard a weesh of steam from inside the station.
"It's a steam engine." said Duck "I cant believe it, their leader is a steam engine but who can it b-
"Shhhh." Said Donald "Listen."
The stranger sighed happily and then whispered to himself "I've waited many years for this, soon all my dreams... and the dreams of my class will come true. The B12's will rule."
"Alfred." Whispered Donald and Duck together. "What do we do, how can we stop him?" Said Donald.
Duck was about to reply but then both engines fell suddenly silent as they heard Gordon's whistle echo in the distance, they looked at each other horror struck, he was nearly there.
then donald and duck saw he was with an unknown tank engine painted marroon with some blue yellow and red as well, it was clear to them this about to go down
"loch sakes what will we do"? Asked donald
"I don't know but it looks like we better get back to knapford"replied duckand the two engines silently crept off
The two engines thought it was quite odd Alfred had another engine there.
"He always works alone." Said Duck.
Then they saw that the maroon, blue, red, and yellow engine was actually just a reflection of a big picture in the station of all the Sodor engines The Fat Controller had put it up as an anniversary surprise.
"I think we're losing it." Said Donald.
"Yeah well." Said Duck "Here's the plan, we go back to where the others are see what're can think up."
They were about to leave when they heard a voice from directly behind them. It was a voice they knew very well.
"What the devil are you two doing here? It's not safe.
It was the Fat Controller.
"Sir." Said Donald and Duck together.
"How did you get here without being seen?" Said Duck "And where is Gordon?"
The Fat Controller smiled. "Who knows this railway better than me, I made them think I fell for Diesel's bluff and took the old track the. Diesels don't know about, we ran into your group on the way and I told Gordon to stay with them." He said.
"But how did you all make it?" He continued.
"With Splatter and Dodges help." Said Duck.
The Fat Controller looked stunned
"They turned on Diesel 10, but never mind that now." He continued. Everyome you saw are all the steam engines left on Sodor, the rest of the engines have gone."
The Fat Controller looked at Duck and Donald.
"Take me to the others." He said "We'll work out what to do there it's safer."
"Yes Sir." Said Duck "Climb on."
With the Fat controller safely on board the two snuck out of the station and back up the line, as they left they heard Alfred grunt impatiently, they smiled at each other. It was nearly light when they reached the others.
(FT + Fat Controller)
Duck: Well if Gordon is with the group we better head back...strength in #'s you know.
FT: Richt...right....
Donald: Sir you seem troubled.
FT: Wel no duh...sry donald its just how did this get so out of hand? ... right under our noses
Duck: Sir don't blame yourself...none of us saw it coming.

Thomas: Shh I can see six lights right outside the shed....new diesels I've never seen them b4.
Toby: Must be the 1st reinforcement squad...9 left...
Percy: What are we going to do?
James: SHUT UP! For one minute pleaase just shut up!
Diesel #?: What was that?
Edward and Henry: SHHHHH!

'We need to hurry then, I have to contact Mr Conductor and Junior, we need all the man power we can get!' FT replied.
'You better Bernet Stone then too', Splatter added.
So Billl and FT set off quietl for Knapford station...
then a flash of lightning appeared next to Alfred and the engine painted maroon, blue, yellow, and red appeared next to Alfred. "Ah, back so soon Cody" asked Alfred.
"Hmmph just remmember who is boss Alfred" said Cody.
"But of course master" said Alfred.
"I heard lady has been sighted" continued Cody "we can't scrap her or everyone including us dies".
"But of course master, after all; Lady is a magical engine who we all need to stay alive" said Alfred warily before Cody vanished in another flash of lightning.
James: Percy I blame you.
Percy: Hey! You had the outburst! I only asked a question..
James: Like 26 times!!!!
Diesel 3, squad 1: Shut up back there.
Diesel 2, squad 5: Yeah!

Its anunsterdy track so be safe...only you can go....reach Knapford, Reach Sir Topham Hatt and bring the group to save the Steam team.
On the Mainland, Her Majesty had heard of the attack. She ordered all of the remaining citizens of Sodor evacuated and the bridge connected the North Western Railway to Barrow-in-Furness destrioed to stop the diesels from attack the Mainland.......

Devious Diesel: Sir,...we have a pro...prob..lem, James has made it to Knapford and they are sending Boat loads of Steamies to Misty Island from the US, they plan to hit us from behind!
Diesel 10: You have got to be kidding me.
When James got to Knapford, he informed Sir Topham Hatt of the diesels' plans to scrap Thomas and the others.
"What?!" Hatt exclaimed, "So Diesel 10 never really had the engines captive when he threatened me? That big cheat! Oh, but wait. Now he actually does have them captive, so... We need to get to the scrap yard immediately!"
When Bill, James, and Sir T.H. found the other escapees, they told them what James had said.
"Hmm... I think I have a plan," said Dodge.
At the scrap yard, D199 and Class 40 were preparing to scrap the six engines (Thomas, Edward, Henry, Percy, Toby, and Emily) after they were shunted into place in front of a smelting pit.
"First up, Thomas!" Shouted D199, and he began pushing the cavalcade (with Thomas in the front) towards the pit.
"Hold it!" shouted Dodge, "we have a few more victims for you!" He and Splatter were pushing Gordon, James, and the two Great Westerners in front of them.
"Hmph, alright, but shunt them quickly!" said Class 40, and the two Diesels moved to an adjacent track.
But when Splodge had shunted the four engines with the rest, they shouted "NOW!!!", and Gordon, James, the Great Westerners, and Splodge quickly pulled the captives in reverse away from the smelting pit and to the scrap yard entrance.
"What the...?!" shouted D199, "Sound the alar..." but before he could finish, The Scottish Twins came out of nowhere and shoved him and Class 40 into the smelting pit.
"WAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!! *gurgles*" were the Diesels' last words.
"HAH!" shouted Douglas, "I've always wanted to do that!" and the twins reversed down the track back to Knapford Station.
A careless diesel was shunting some dangerous tankers in the munitions yard to bring to Diesel 10. The diesel slammed into one of the cars too hard and the car slammed into several tankers and crashed...........
With the steam Team back together, the Fat Controller and Mr C started to think of a way to get rid of diesel 10 and the other diesels...
Mr C: Sugar!
FT: Pardon?
Mr C: Diesels dont like sugar! I threatened Diesel 10 with it when you were on holiday a few years ago.
Percy:I remember, he took off faster than you can say magic railroad, after demolishing half the shed...
FT: So you are saying that sugar will seize their engines?
Mr C, Percy and Thomas: Yes it will!!
Henry: But how are we going to get sugar with the mainland cut off?
Splatter and Dodge: We know of a way! There is a secret tunnel to the mainland, Cody and Alfred used it to get across.
Bill: Lets use that then.
Ben: But surely it will be protected?
???:Don't worry, we can take care of that!
The engines looked to see Mavis, Bo-Co, Salty and Derek.
FT: Good to see you! Now lets get this show on the road!!
Thomas, Percy, James, Duck and Oliver set off for the secret tunnel with Dodge, Splatter, Bo-Co and Salty to get them through.
In a dark shed located in an abandoned part of Sodor, Diesel informed Alfred of the recent events. When he left, Alfred began monologuing to himself.
"So, I've lost the steamies to some diesel traitors, and Diesel 10 to a munitions explosion... no matter. With that pathetic clawed mutant out of the way, I'm now in direct command of the Diesel army... well, almost in direct command. But I'll deal with that soon enough. You better run for the hills... Master Cody. MWA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA!!!"
Unknown to Cody on his way to escape he had caught the eye of the engines hiding in a shed at the scrap yard.
"That's him." Said Duck.
"Is everyone ready." Said Gordon
"As ready as we'll ever be." Said Donald
Cody had chosen to check the situation at the scrap yard before escaping, he edged towards the still open smelting pit stopping just before the edge.
He could see the still burning remains of the diesels.
"Fools." He muttered. "It's nearly time now, soon my diesels will move into not only the rest Europe but the rest of the world. I will drive out all steam everywhere, and the humans... the humans will work for us for a change, or die." He looked up into the sky. "All for you Peter, my brother, I do this in your name.."
Suddenly he started shouting so loudly that the engines were nearly startled out of silence. "GONE, DEAD, SCRAPPED BY THAT FOOL OF OUR CONTROLLER ON THE MAINLAND MANY YEARS AGO NOW ON THAT DAY I SWORE I WOULD AVENGE YOU, AND NOW I AM, I WILL FIND THEM AND I WILL KILL EVERY LAST STEAM ENGINE ON THIS PLANET... and then myself, for why do we deserve to live and you not?"
The engines looked at each other stunned.
"He's insane, theres no reasoning with him." Whispered Duck "Should we?"
"We have to." Said Donald "For every other steam engine in the world, for the greater good."
All the engines looked away, Some had tears in their eyes.
Donald and Duck shot forward, Cody saw them and tried to reverse but it was too late, with one mighty heave from the two engines he was pushed into the smelting pit.
Just before his head was submerged they heard him whisper "Here I come Peter...here I come."
Cody was dead, Donald and Duck looked at the spot in the pit where he had vanished for a whole minute before Duck said. "It's not over yet, we still have Alfred to deal with, he's the boos again now, he'll carry out the plan for his own and possibly even worse ends, he wont care about Cody...he'll probably be glad he's dead actually." Donald silently agreed.
Just before they reversed to the other engines Duck said "Rest in Peace Cody."
Then they went back to the others and all the engines made their way back up the line, no one said anything... no one could.
Gordon: Look!!! Up in the skies....its jets with the words.. "Artic Division" written on it.
Duck: There has to be at least 20!
James: You think that bad look at the coast line! Diesel powered ships!
***BZZZAAAALLZZZ**** Everyone: Junior!

All the sudden with three bombs they hit the track and D&D, Duck, all the friendly diesels, and James fell off their track in to the shallow bay below them. Luckily the engines were unharmed but had no way to get out.
Duck: GO! The Diesels can't get to us and we'll be fine..just hurry!
Meanwhile Her Majesty was hurrying around Buckingham Palace when the phone rang, it was the Fat Controller.......
Billy was trying his very best to push all the vechicles of Sodor to saftey. He went down the line and retrieved Caroline. Then all of the suddden he heard the the sound of Diesel motors. "Oh NO!" Exclaimed Mr. Percival. But they were not Sodor Diesels, they were very diffirent. The three engines were all brightly colored engines. "Who are you?", asked Billy. "I'm Wilson. This is Brewster and KoKo. We are from Chugginton, when we heard that Sodr was being attacked of course we had to come and help our Diesel brethern." "Oh no you don't", excliamed Billy. An with one big heave and puff Billy was off with all the vehicles. "After him!", exclaimed Brewster.

She telephoned the US about the incoming wave of Diesels and was to land. Land Diesels took over Washington DC and Texas while the Rail Diesels took over National Parks like Steamtown and Strasburg. Victor, Kevin, and #475 (aka the engine from Thomas and the magic Railroad). Hank however escaped with the Vice President and headed off to Canada. They knew the Diesels would lose sight of them...for now. Her Majesty called for Harold and he was to take her to as far away as needed.
Sir Hatt: Your Majesty go with Harold now. Send help to the US as well they are our biggest alllies in this.
Gordon: Hey look! Look over there its Henry's Tender!!!!

Gordon: Henry no!
Alfred: Henry YES!...don't worry about him he's fine we just thought scaring you would be better. Bill and BEn! HERE NOW!
B&B: Sry sir...we got them here as fast and sneaky as possible.

Alfred: No. See at first I thought yes. help the diesels destroy sodor and these to were going to help me but the diesels wanted change and I still only want to destroy you and sodor but want to do it alone..without the diesels. Bill and Ben tried to change sides but the chance for power..is too strong. The three of us will destroy sodor but first we must stop these diesels. I bet you didn''t know but those 10 squads are on their way and they all have had a "Pinchy" installed but D 1O's still has the most powerful one. But for now lets go..and Gordon..if I go down...you'll come with me.

Back in the US, the Diesels that captured Victor, Kevin, and #475 headed east to ohio. The Ohio Central had heard about the attack and panicked. They hid the engines and one went to the CVSR, sense the Alcos were good friends with the steam engines.

800: Na, these guys are from sodor, and are attacking the U.S.
1822: does this mean we can push that dummy Thomas thing into the cuyahoga river?

the diesel raised his claw and started snapping at 800 as he yelled.
The diesel: Tell me where that bloody steam engine is before i get angry!
800: we got none! Now leave before i switch ya back to wherever you came from!
The diesel: fine... but if i come back and find a steam engine... they go on the list.
The diesel rolled away slowly and 800 looked at the others.

Quickly, in favor of publicity, they decided to purchase some of their steam locomotives back from Strasburg...
--Strasburg Foreman: Excuse me, but are you seriously trying to purchase my equipment?
--CN Foreman: Uh, yep. We are starting and promoting a steam program, and we though how nice it would be if we could have authentic equipment we used to operate years back... I'm sorry for the bombardment, perhaps just a lease?
--Strasburg Foreman: *shacks head* Tell ya what. We can see about an equipment lease... but I don't know. We make money with these locomotives. You better understand our prices don't come cheap.
--CN Foreman: Oh yes, we are willing to pay any lease offer your willing to propose. The promotional train is in a few weeks time, we would LOVE to have one of our steamers going down the main with the business train trailing.
--Strasburg Foreman: Good man. Let's go and get it on paper.

- Strasburg Foreman: We just got bombarded... these... locomotives! They came from no where, and stole our steam locomotives! We have no idea what has happened. They appear to be diesel locomotives, of the British sort. CCTV cameras aren't telling us enough right now... We need a search party. It appears the old diesels have... THEY have everything...
- CN Foreman: ... This isn't the end. We'll assist you in any way possible.
- Strasburg Foreman: CSX has been hit in Eastern Ohio... looks like they hit Texas, and West coast too. The whole da*n country!
- CN Foreman: Is there any way to preserve the steam locomotives...?
- Strasburg Foreman: ...it looks grim. Still no reports back from Fort Wayne about NKP 765.
- CN Foreman: Have any other railroads tried to salvage what they have?
- Strasburg Foreman: Reports from CSX say they're trying a steam program, but it looks grim. All their diesels sent out to retrieve the steams come back nearly empty! Nobody knows how this happened... All we can hope for is that we don't see the day of no steam.
- CN Foreman: So, have any groups been organized to strike back on the diesels...?
- Strasburg Foreman: It seems there's a rebel group formed from within CSX in Eastern Ohio... It also appears there's a task force coming in straight from Sodor Isle... UK. No idea on ETA, but it they should be here soon.
- CN Foreman: Let everyone know, the Canadian National will support ANY and ALL rebels groups against these diesels.
- Strasburg Foreman: Will do.

With the Canadian National railroad now donating it's own diesel equipment to help rebel groups... it looks like h*ll on US Rails is about to unleash as the Sodor locomotives are inbound...

Meanwhile in a railroad facility hidden somewhere in Middle America, the Strasburg steamers are hiding with other steam engines from other steam railroads, such as the Western Maryland and Willmington and Western railroads. The United States government built this facility inside a Mount Rushmore to store old steam engines for government projects. The engines are safe there, and will be unharmed.
But Cody had been trying to trick Alfred (thinking he was there) and had disappeared in a flash of lightning 2 seconds before he (if he was in there) would have been killed. Just then Alfred arrived, with a prisoner called Cecil
"ah Alfred you got Cecil, excellent" he said darkly "DIESELS, CECIL PUSH HIS SORRY TENDER IN THE SMELTING SHED"

"No problem" said Cody "Now I can grant your class passage to sodor and some engines will work here alongside the sodor engines"

"I will have you all scraped now" said Cody as Cecil pushed the diesels into the smelters shed and that was the end of the 3 diesels

Obama gave a grave look. "Pere Marquette 1225, ohio central 6325, and Canadian national 3254. More engines are being shipped but are currently in storage. we tried to rescue them but British Diesels with claws attacked the troops. According to the troops, they are painted in all Class 1 railroads claiming that they are looking for steam engines for there steam program and will take them to a local yard. Even if they refuse, the diesels still take the steam engines if they find them. We currently have no idea whats going on at Sodor, but this might become a global emergency."
Everyone gasped then started to talk at once.

I second this. Let's just do our best to make sure the pieces of the story fit with what has already been written. Frankly, the story's getting so spontaneous that I can just barely follow it.

As the tide came in, the engines started drifting out towards the open sea.
"NOOO!!!" cried James, "I'm too splendid to die!!!"
"Och, stuff it, James!" called out Douglas.
Just then, a vortex of gold dust surrounded the engines and lifted them out of the bay and into the sky.
"AHHH!!! What's going on?!" cried out Mavis.
But then, the gold dust lined all the engines up, and set them down on the rails of the mainland.
As the gold dust cleared, Donald cried out, "Look, it's an angel!"
"No, you silly-head, it's me!" said a voice.
"No..." said BoCo, "It can't be. It's... It's..."
"Ringo Starr..." finished Duck.
I was surprised the story made it to the US :P
I also have the perfect ending to this "never ending story" and I think I will use it when I see fit ;)

Same here, i wasn't planning on posting but i saw it went to Strasbourg so i figured adding on wouldn't be so bad after all.

Its just the idea that we follow things one event after another. If Cody died..he died. I mean my creativity told me that Bill and Ben were traitors and that they blew up Henry's Tender, and that it made it to the US AND THAT
GOLD DUST WAS USED! If it wasn't for Jamesis5 we might have never thought ofthe Diesel Invasion..he has creativity...I forget if it was AnthonyP2 or Thomasj219 but whoever added Cody's insanity in there was creative. WE HAVE ALL BEEN CREATIVE! Now we can say that there was a clone made to look like and be like Cody and be named Cody but there is no original Cody remaining. Thats like saying Thomas derailed himself so instead of waiting he simply got back on the rails like nothing ever happened. So don't question it go along with it.

Twin or something." so let's get this straight Cody is Dead Diesel 10 is dead and some engines are off the rails. From now on posts that are going against the current events should be ignored if everyone agrees. I'm not trying to be mean, I love to write, I take it seriously and everything you write including Fan Fiction should make sense, if it doesn't it's impossible for someone to add to the story and the story will fail, just keep that in mind.
reminds me of Stewie complaining about stuff magically happening for no reason, no logic at all. Apparently, Brian brought back the character because the children wished it...? i don't know, its been a while sense i watched that family guy episode. The point is, if you don't want the character to die but it did, don't bring him back, just bring someone else or a new character. Its all about whose fastest on the trigger.

That night, 800 left fitswater yard and headed north. 1822 moved the coaches so he could access the CSX trackage. The journey was dangerous, but he finally made it to Clark Avenue Yard, where he saw 2 diesels with claws guarding the yard, one wrong move and he'd be scrapped himself. But luckily, they were just sleeping, racing down the line, he managed to get to collinwood, then turned around to go to the NS Chicago line, where he ran at top speed doing over 80. When he got to Toledo, he hopped onto the CN line and headed toward the ship wreckage.
800: not much longer... just a few more hours...
By Day break, he found #90 and #475 with the ship.
meanwhile billy was running as fast as he could from koko, brewster and wilsion was going. then he got to the smelters yard. billy saw a switch. mr p slammed on billy;s brakes and quickly switched the points so billy stopped on the other track. when koko, brewster and wilsion came he quickley switched the tracks. the smeltering door was open and they flowe into the smeltering pit
koko, brewster and wilsion together as they fly into the pit: "AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! WERE TO YOUNG TO DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!." that was there last words.

If you READ my post none of them got back on the rails on their own accord I left it for someone else to explain, like the original post to now we leave our post for somone to put an add on to it. Just like it has been since the start, and any more attempts to kill Cody I'll make a comment similar to my last one with him somehow coming back from the grave and thomasj219 the reason I brought Cody back the first time

2) No deaths.
3) No new characters (this bit also includes nothing from Spencer and Murdoch onwards, so any charcter from Thomas till Murdoch, thats Aurther, Spencer, Emily, Fergus, but no further so no Victor, Kevin, Hiro etc etc)
and 4) lets keep it non violent please (we can still have accidents like Gordon off the rails and Henrys flying kipper incident)
oh and dont forget the rules on the first page (with the exception of the line count.
Lets start off...
Derek the Diesel was on his way to Kanpford, he had just come across from the mainland as FT had requested him to help around the island.
Derek: Oh its great to be back, I cannot wait to see Bill, Ben and Bo-Co again.
He came to Gordon's Hill, to find a train infront of him. It was James, the rails were slippery so he stalled half way up the hill.
Derek: Want push James?
James: Oh thank you, that will be a great help!
So Dereks driver buffered him up to the back of train.
Derek: Ready?
James: Ready!
So the two engines started to move the heavy load up Gordon's Hill.
NEXT!!!! ;D
But as he was pushing, Derek's cooling system gave out (again).
"What...?! But they told me they fixed it!!!" he yelled, "Stupid BR mechanics..."
"Wait, so now we're both stuck here?" James asked, "Oh, come on! I already have too many faults on my record. If I'm late with this special, then Sir Topham Hatt may never let me pull the express again!"
"And if I'm late to the quarry, I'll blow my second chance. They'll send me back to the British Railway for good this time. "
"Well, you have any idea of how to get us out of this mess?"
Derek thought for a moment, then called out, "HEEEELP!!!"

Well again I dont think you can put restrictions on it like that 7029, there is a creative gene and when people sit down and right its hard to not include some things like death, and this story is going really well, and no deaths is asking a lot, if people just keep to Thomas characters (Plus Alfred) I think we will be alright, there are just too many characters to keep track of. So can these be the new rules please?
1. Only Thomas & Railway Series Characters (Plus Alfred)
2. No Bringing Characters Back From The Dead.
If you take out the deaths we would be missing the opportunity to explore wonderful story lines that aren't ever used in Thomas, it would really show other sides to the characters, instead of just accidents like on the show, something different you know. Please don't discontinue this story I am really enjoying writing for it and I am planning to adapt it in to a model remake, how cool would that be?

So are we and just because you like a character doesn't mean you can just bring him back from the dead. I did acknowledge him and I saw an interesting way to add something to the story which is what we all did, and I really liked the flash of lightning part after the engines though he was a reflection, it was spooky and cool. "any more attempts to kill Cody I'll make a comment similar to my last one with him somehow coming back from the grave" This is just childish and petty if this story continues I will not be recognizing Cody anymore he was a good character and his inclusion was an asset to the story and his death was necessary for the story to continue. Now with all these stupid attempts to bring him back it is becoming a hindrance with all these evil and good twins running around, its confusing, silly, and above all not a good story.
So if everyone agrees can we get "back on track?" :)
There is nothing I hate more than seeing a good story with potential die, we have one here, please don't let it die.

Oh, and all good things come to an end, but I honestly would not call this story good anymore :P
But, back to the story: Sir Topham Hatt jumped off of his chair, he had dozed off and had been dreaming about what could happen if they could not stop this on Sodor. It was the queen, returning his call about closing Sodor off to the outside world. (Yes, I just took all of the stuff about America out of the story turning it into a dream instead of reality :P)

Oh my gosh that is what happens in stories you really don't know what a goos story is do you, in Harry Potter people are killed off all the time and now look how good it is, just because you like someone doesn't mean they cant die in a story. , and besides Cody was in the story he is dead now.
