Title: Sound Module
Post by: steam07fe on July 10, 2007, 08:39:04 PM
I need a recommendation for a sound module for a Spectrum 4-4-0.  If someone could suggest a source, it would be greatly appreciated.   The manual indicates it goes in the tender.

Dear Steam,
Both Phoenix and Soundtraxx have sound samples on their sites.
Have fun!

I have fitted a Sierra Sound System in my Eureka 4-4-0, great sound, the locomotive comes alive, I have also fitted Sierra Systems in my Shay, Climax and Consolidation.  Highly reccomended. ::)

I have a Sierra SoundTraxx system in my Accucraft K27 as I am too poor to afford the real steam version.

It sounds very good to me, and replicates 'Mournful Moosie' - #453.

Gidday there Danny,
How is Queensland?  I have moved to NZ and are setting up my Railway again. Lots of Railway stuff around here in the Waihi area.
