We need more information. What are the brand, model line (not RR name) and length of your passenger cars? Do they have four- or six-wheel trucks? -- D Title: Re: HO Passenger cars Post by: usher42 on November 08, 2011, 03:48:12 AM Bachmann 85

Use a minimum of 24 inch radius if possible. The manufacturer may state that the cars will negotiate 22 in radius, but I am working with a retirement group and their Walthers 85 ft cars need 24r. When running on anything less it is impossible to get around 22 r successfully everytime. Title: Re: HO Passenger cars Post by: usher42 on November 08, 2011, 01:52:27 PM What about 28
What about 28" curves for passenger cars? ' Title: Re: HO Passenger cars Post by: adari on November 08, 2011, 05:37:14 PM Anything larger then 24 will work. So yes 28 Will work

Twenty-eight inches should be fine. Thirty inches and up will help long passenger cars both operate and look outstanding. -- D Title: Re: HO Passenger cars Post by: usher42 on November 09, 2011, 03:48:46 AM Right now i have phase2 passenger cars with 22radius curve track which i have on my layout now.Should i stay with 22 radius curve or upgrade to 28 radius curves.

A good Rule of Thumb when it comes to passenger cars, particularly long ones, is that the largest radius that will fit is the radius to use. -- D Title: Re: HO Passenger cars Post by: usher42 on November 11, 2011, 02:21:24 PM What about 33.25 radius curves
