Title: Black signal bridge
Post by: arkady on November 13, 2011, 12:01:58 PM
Why was the color of the O scale signal bridge changed to silver?  Yes, I know some railroads paint their signal structures with aluminum paint, but just about all the signals I've ever seen personally have been black.

If anyone's counting votes, I'd like to request a black version of the O signal bridge.

Probally to distinquish the old one from the new one, if you bought a new one the parts would be silver instead of black. Also the Bachmann or Plasticville stamping may have changed since the original issue of the black signal bridge, and other Plasticville buildings.
Collectors of Plasticville can tell the differance just by looking at the item, or at the plastic stamp mark.
