I was wondering how u made the track a ruted color on your Sodor laout. ??? i wanted to know what that was. was it paint or something like that ??? pleas let me know because i think your Island of Sodor is great. ;)
he used his grey roadbed track thats all :D

In fact, I did paint the track rail brown before I ballasted it, and then I cleaned the rail heads.

I need to do that. I don't like ballasting. I'm not great at it. It looked like there was an accident on my first layout of ballast trucks. lol.

why wernt edward and emily on there when the new bildings were up ??? ??? ??? ???
well i know that emily wasnt on there because they had trouble with making her face but i dont know about edward though
Well first of all Edward, Mavis and Emily and the other rolling stock haven't been made yet, and the layout was finished around the end of January, in my opinion though buildings are easier to make so that is probably why you saw the buildings from the 2007 range without any of the new rolling stock with Edward, Emily, and Mavis.

The lighthouse is from Walthers, I don't know about the bridges though.
Most of the bridges are just O scale tunnel portals. The viaduct is the Atlas viaduct set.
