Should a new nickname be give the new updated big hauler to differentiate it from the 2000 Anniversary edition?
Annie 2.0 is too modern sounding, I think.
This locomotive is more than 20 years old, wasn't it first introduced in the late 80s?
My suggestion:
I like the idea of keeping with a female name, but starting with the letter B. So my suggestion is the new 4-6-0 should be called a "Betty".
Thoughts?
Hi All,
I kinda liked Mark's idea of Annie 2.0, or possibly Annie2 or Annie II.
We definitely need a nickname for the new Annie with metal gears and improved pilot truck. IN the 2011 Bachmann Catalog Bachmann calls it the "Anniversary Edition 4-6-0 Steam Locomotive" which is the same exact way they identify to old Annie, so we need an easy to type nickname for the new one.
Jump in with your ideas!! Have some fun!
How about "Sandy"
Regards, Ron
Most definetly needs identified. I would be happy with "Anne 2" :)
Keep it short and Sweet and along the same line "Anna"
Wood cab version - Annie Oakley
One that runs down long corridors - Annie Hall
One that doesn't run - Annie Get your Gun
;D
Later,

"Annie Plus"
