Title: Problem with Alco FB2 Diesel Loco DCC Ready (64803)
Post by: rrtmmt on December 08, 2011, 07:17:50 PM
Recently I bought a new Alco FB2 Diesel Loco DCC Ready (64803) .

I does not work properly. It makes a humm and clicking noise when it should be moving

Do the "B" units have a different factory DCC default than unit "3"? .  There were no instruction that gave the DCC unit code.

The unit does work with a non DCC transformer.

If it is DCC ready then it does not have dcc and you have to buy a decoder.

If it's DCC ready it does not have a decoder, and therefore you should be on address 0 to run it with your DCC system.
