 hi all i am a lionel and mth guy but with the way the prices keep rising just cant buy them any more so i just bought my first williams 44 ton engine and was wondering if a better sound can be put in it.

You can add sound and TMCC to any williams all you have to do is look on Electric Railroad site and it has all you need you could also contact marty who is in here often as he sells ERR items so does another guy I have dealt with and is very knowageable of ERR products is Bill at

With a smaller engine you may not have the needed room under the shell to add a better sound system, so before doing that you may want to consider that.

The Williams engines that I have bought in the past 12 years or so work great with almost no work done other than to lube them. I have upgraded a couple of SD-45's and added True Blast 2 diesel horn to an unpowered Shark B unit. The Shark B unit I bought for about $25.00 at a train show, you won't buy a new B unit for under $100.00 today.
