Title: Rail jointers
Post by: yooper on December 15, 2011, 03:37:38 PM
I purchased Bachmann E-Z track Hayes bumpers 44891. They come without rail jointers. The Bachmann track only has 1 rail jointer on each end. how are we expected to use this Item with only one rail jointer? The parts department said there is no N gauge Rail jointers and that I am out of luck and they dont care, too bad.

Hi yooper,

There is no reason, or need, to add another joiner.
It is not necessary to have electrical continuity to the bumper track.
This is why Bachmann didn't put one on the bumper track.

Simply connect the bumper track as you would any other track piece.
The plastic molded tabs will hold (lock) the track pieces together.

Good luck
