i made another post that said "grass effects?"
and id like to ask more people
for dirt effects
would i take top soil and grill it as they say for organisms?
and another question
i want to make a farm field how would i do that?
with the dirt?
I think paint works better than dirt.

i don't know if it would look as good as real dirt

I seem to remember an article that used wide wale corduroy as a base for a plowed field. The writer used brown fabric, painted it with lighter shades of brown, and used finely sifted (and sterilized) soil over that. Looked pretty decent.

For dirt I just paint the plaster for texture I stipple on a mixture of gravel and latex earth paint:

I use paver sand for flat areas:

Most ground areas are covered with vegatation

I use dirt from the garden, sterilized, dried and sieved. Saturating it with denatured alcohol sterilizes it quickly and helps it dry faster.
