There's weight in the trucks? What trucks the Hornby trucks? I don't see of any lbs. in the tenders or trucks that bachmann made.
In england pounds are currency, so if theres currency to be made in Bachmann cars then start buying!
I mean weight and I think he does too.
First u unscrew the couplers and takee them off. then u unscrew the bottom antake it of and then u can take out the weight annd screw everything backin. u can also remove the trucks faces and put on other thomas bachmann cars for example u can put it on a cargo car. Hope This Helps.

Yes the Brake van is the same as the freight cars. As for the coaches I dont remember a weight inside.

There are weights inside of Annie & Clarabel, too. I'm not sure about the Brake Van. I can almost surely say that there is not, due to it's length.
But I could be wrong.
