Title: What is the difference between Wood and steel cabin in two truck shay?

I am thinking to get T-boiler two truck shay.  Please give explanations of these models #28502, #28503 and #28504. Which model is closer to real one?

Below are all three, Sheet metal cab, Vertical panel, and raised wood panel
They are are proto typical "real"  I think in general Wood cabs are on loco's that were produced earlier but not always... some of the geared loco guys can answer better then me what railroad had wood and which had sheetmetal,

my railroad is fictitious so I go with what looks the best to me.
